Aalo Atomics: Aalo Atomics is a nuclear startup building small, factory-made sodium-cooled reactors designed to power AI data centers.
They’re developing a 10 MWe micro-reactor (Aalo-X) and a 50 MWe modular plant (Aalo-Pod) composed of five reactors. Their goal is ultra-cheap, scalable, reliable nuclear power (~3¢/kWh).
They’ve raised major funding, partnered with the DOE, and are building a prototype to kick off what they call the “Second Atomic Age.”
Our journey:
We began with Matt Lozsak and Yasir Arafat in April, 2024, where we produced a video to share the young startups thesis with the world. Within 5 months, they completed their Series A fundraise.

Then, in August, as they were completing their initial designs of the reactor, we visited them in Austin to see their new factory, and made content of their progress.
Then, after over 2 years of knowing Matt and Yasir we were brought on for the most ambitious project yet.
After 8 months in the factory, they had built out the manufacturing line and the body of their first reactor. We were brought on to make media for the event and help close their next round with an injection of content momentum.
We were brought on to do the following:
a) showcase how their future product lines will work with renders
b) capture the event and share it with the world to amplify success
Final:
From the momentum created by curating an incredible event with relevant stakeholders, showcasing true engineering progress, and creating media to help investors understand what is to come, the Aalo team was able to successfully raise $100 Million for their Series B.

Since raising their Series B, Aalo broke ground at their nuclear reactor test site in Idaho National Lab, where they plan on reaching criticality by July 4th, 2026, we made a spot to showcase their progress.
